Command Center walkthrough

See the daily close as an operating dashboard, not a pile of reports.

The Command Center shows sales, labor, budget variance, manager follow-up items, owner-ready reporting, and practical next steps.

It keeps future workflows clearly marked until the right data path and approval process are in place. Nothing turns on before it is ready.

What is ready now

Use the daily close with confidence.

RestaurantSynk is designed to avoid false confidence. It shows which numbers are ready to use, which items need review, and which workflows are not active yet.

That means owners can review the daily close without guessing whether receipt lookup, report delivery, costing, accounting, or bank actions are live.

Daily close values

Daily EOD provides the actual closeout values used in the Command Center.

Budget targets

Budget Daily provides the approved sales and labor targets.

Common questions

Answers for operators reviewing RestaurantSynk.

Does this replace our POS today?

No. RestaurantSynk currently focuses on the Command Center and Owner Back Office workflow. It reads the daily close and supporting closeout data. The near-term receipt path should connect to the restaurant's existing POS API before receipt lookup or product mix is turned on.

Is owner report delivery live?

Not yet. The owner report is available as a preview for review. Send, PDF export, share links, accounting handoff, and bank workflows stay off until the delivery path, permissions, and approval process are confirmed.

Are menu margin recommendations live?

No. Menu and costing views can show readiness, but margin recommendations should wait until invoice costs, recipe details, yields, pack sizes, product mix, and current menu prices are connected and approved.

What happens after the walkthrough?

We help identify the best next step for your restaurant: receipt detail, owner report delivery, or costing visibility. The goal is to turn on the next workflow only after the right data path and approval process are clear.
